The Salesian Missions Office is under the guidance of the African Nigeria-Niger Province. It is in Abuja, Nigeria, a residential city in the centre of Nigeria surrounded by kaduna, Nasarawa, Kogi and Niger; dominated by the iconic Zuma rock to its north. The Mission Office was established in 2025 by Africa Nigeria-Niger (ANN) province and Fr. Ambrose Onyeka Anene, as its first director, dedicates his life and love for the missions to advance.
We are your hands reaching out to the abandoned, forgotten and destitute youth of the world.
We support the apostolate of Don Bosco and endeavour to find funds to support projects that address the plight of disadvantaged youth living in Nigeria whilst striving to spread the spirituality of Don Bosco and the apostolic aspect of Salesian work.
St. Francis de Sales, the zealous pastor and doctor of charity, inspired Don Bosco by his optimistic humanism and his complete dedication to the pastoral care of souls. In 1854 he declared: “The Madonna wishes that we begin a Society. I have decided to call ourselves Salesians. Let us put ourselves under the protection of St. Francis de Sales, so that we may obtain his extraordinary gentleness.”
