For over a century, we have provided education, shelter, and emotional support to at-risk youth—a mission started in the 19th century by St. John Bosco, who dedicated his life to aiding children in need.This mission thrives today, tailored to the unique needs of Nigeria’s 21st-century youth. Over 17,000 Salesian Fathers and Brothers serve in more than 132 countries, focusing on youth education, development, and empowerment. In Africa, over 1,200 Salesians work across 46 countries. In Nigeria, we operate in 8 cities across geopolitical zones (Ondo Town and Akure 1982, Onitsha 1988, Ibadan 2002, Lagos 2011, Abuja 2013, Ijebu Ode and Koko-Kebbi 2014) and plan to expand to Benue, Edo, and Rivers States soon.
